As part of social contribution activity in Thailand, DSTH supported Operation Smile Foundation, which is Non-Profit Organization.

In February 2024, DSTH staff including Mr. Kobayashi, Managing Director of Daiichi Sankyo Thailand, participated in social support activities at Sri Sangwan Hospital in Mae Hong Son province. Our Main purpose of participating this activity was to support patients for their surgery operation. For example, Mr. Kobayashi assisted patient ID photo preparations, and other staffs assisted medical record screening of individuals with cleft lip and/or cleft palate and burns. In addition, we supported to prepare "No No Arm Band" and "Hand Puppet” for pediatric patients. Our employees also visited the operation room for better understanding about actual medical operation so that we could learn surgery procedures and medical effort by HCPs who tried to enhance the life of the patients.

We are hoping all patients will have better health, better mental, better access to medicines, and a bigger smile than before. We would like to pursue our CSR activities to contribute to a more sustainable society as good corporate citizens.
